This was never a planned situation for my family and I’m glad to have Michael Yackiv to help and guide us in time like this.
There was never any pushing or pressure, and all the fine print that was read and reviewed with us. Michael was open and very supportive. He did advise us on what to do and what would be unnecessary when it comes to spending money.
Family had ordered casket on line and Michael was very supportive on our decision. I was present when casket arrived and pleased with our purchase and very thankful that Michael called me over for receiving of the casket as it was our full responsibility for the casket purchase.
Everything has been above my expectations - the service, the support and the quality. Michael had kept the doors open for my mom even on the weekend, because he understood grieving and how much it means to my mom.
There is smart TV's and DVD players available at no cost to display family pictures using slideshow play or some family videos during calling hours. I could write more and more, but in one thought - THANK you MICHAEL for being there in time of need - your help and support GREATLY appreciated.

Good, caring people and reasonable with their pricing! The Funeral director was wonderful and so was his staff of ladies. Comforting too. It wasn't all about money with them. They even let me purchase my own casket and gave me many options for the funeral. I highly recommend them.

To say they honored my grandfather and captured everything that was important to him and our family would be an understatement. Shawn and his team were extremely responsive and made the most difficult part of our lives easier. When we walked into the funeral parlor we were overwhelmed with emotion as they they had collected pictures from all of our family and had them beautifully displayed all around the room and in a slide show. They also took the initiative to make a guest book that had photos in it, golf cards customized to my grandfather as he was an avid golfer, and honored his service to the Rochester Fire Department with cards that even had the engine that he drove on it. Shawn and his team ensured that no detail was missed. They were extremely supportive and attentive to our families every need and honored my grandfathers life in a way that I could have never imagined.
